About The Artist...

Maximos was born in Egypt in 1950. He graduated from Cairo University with a degree of law in 1972 and worked as a lawyer. During this time, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, as well as working on several felance projects for television and newspapers. He then moved to the United States in 1980 where he earned his Graphic Arts degree in Chicago, which allowed Maximos to work in the advertising field. In 1990, he moved to Florida and opened his gallery, Art Nova.

A contemporary artist. His work is full of dynamic expression and sophisticated emotion that stands on traditional masters. His passionate emotions speak through his strong lines of strokes and colors. Masterfully blending realistic images with a bold of impressionistic brushwork. Each painting reflects his close understanding of both traditional and contemporary life and his unique talent to capture the beauty at any moment. His paintings have been widely shown and are in many public and private collections.

He seeks toward enriching the mind of those who would be willing to change and take the next step from making art as a hobby into a profession. His teaching style, techniques, and methods are like none other—impressionistically unique in their own regard.
